As well as being an exciting space for new performance and world music, the Mela is renowned for its fantastic food and shopping.
We’re currently looking for stallholders to form both our global food village and our market. Anyone who wants to trade is welcome: in the food village we want to be able to offer tastes from all over the world, while jewellery, accessories, fashion, interiors, sari stalls, crafts and fair trade goods are top-sellers in the Mela marketplace.
In 2011, over 27,000 people visited the Mela over two days. If you want to bring your cuisine or products to that size of audience, email stalls@edinburgh-mela.co.uk by Monday 30th July.
