edinburgh mela festival 2008 as you always do gappad theatreAs You Always Do

Gappad Theatre
Sun 31st Aug 8pm The Big Top
Included in Sunday Site Pass

After a highly successful run of their debut performance RE-ID in 2007, Gappad presents a new physical theatre performance confronting individual guilt with public judgement. From hundreds of stories of missing people Gappad chooses to concentrate on one exploring the nature of a 'social trial' where the defenceless victim becomes the enemy in the eyes of the public. The play follows the story of an anonymous female, who has gone missing and has since been banished, judged in absentia and punished by society. Devised by the ensemble. Bilingual (Polish/English). This show deals with adult themes and material and is suitable 16+years.
