Kids love the Mela, and the Mela takes the business of entertaining our junior audience members very seriously indeed!
In 2012, the Mela Kidzone took you on a journey Around the World in Eighty Minutes, with a series of workshops, activities and performances exploring the stories and traditions of the four points of the compass, North (Northern Europe), East (East Asia), South (Africa) and West (the Americas). The Mela Storytelling Boat, crewed by a team of Vikings and Norsewomen, was on hand for any young pirates who needed a rest after all the excitement, too.
