The Edinburgh Mela seeks to embrace all its diverse communities and cultures, providing a showcase and development opportunities for artists from within those groups, working alongside artists of national and international stature. Our aim is to provide a high quality festival of music, dance and the wider arts from around the world, with the express purpose of promoting understanding between people and advancing the cause of community coherence.
Becoming A Member of The Edinburgh Mela
The Edinburgh Mela is a membership organisation, with application for membership open to bodies, companies, partnerships, non-incorporated bodies and organisations which have a demonstrable interest in black, ethnic minority arts, culture and community groups and the objects of whose founding deed (and any subsequent amendments thereto) are compatible with and complimentary to the Objects of The Edinburgh Mela.

The Edinburgh Mela Festival works with a range of stakeholders and supporters to deliver the festival, from large corporate companies and public sector agencies through to local community organisations.
