How to get to the Edinburgh Mela Festival
Information
Arriving: The site entrance is situated on the corner of Duke Street and East Hermitage Place. Please note this is the only entrance to the festival site.
Leaving: the Mela - the way to leave is through the marked Exit.
Accessibility and Assistance: The site is fully accessible, although it must be noted that the festival is an outdoor event on a largely grass surface. Accessible toilets are available these are clearly labelled on the map above. Assistance is available for disabled patrons at the box office and the site entrance.
Disabled Parking: A limited number of parking spaces are available on site for disabled visitors and are marked on the site map. These are accessed from John’s Place. All vehicles
parked here must display a Blue Badge Permit.

Parking
The Edinburgh Mela Festival is not able to provide a parking facility. Parking in the surrounding area is very limited and will be strictly controlled by parking measures, including vehicle uplift for illegally parked vehicles.
Travel
Public Transport: please consider travelling to the Festival by public transport. If you need to travel by car for part of your journey please consider the use of one of Edinburgh's many Park and Ride facilities.
